Living walls: stunning, elegant, efficient and functional
We design, create and maintain outdoor living walls of any size that enhance and gentrify the appearance of the buildings whilst bestowing a touch of elegance and style to the surrounding environment. Ideal both in the case of new buildings and also the renovation of existing structures, the outdoor living walls pay tribute to nature, a solution that communicates creativity and well-being, serenity and harmony.
Not just beautiful: the advantages of outdoor living walls
The realisation of living walls also has a number of advantages, not just an important aesthetic value. First and foremost versatility: these creations can be adapted to meet a variety of design needs, and can be made using a rang of different species. They are natural sound barriers, with excellent sound-absorbing properties, they also provide thermal insulation and efficient weather protection barriers.
They act as filters when capturing fine particles and meet the demands of the research studies conducted to boost green landscaping in cities to improve their environmental quality. In fact, the positive impact of urban vegetation on air quality (Litschke et al., 2008) and on the psycho-physical health of the people living in densely populated areas has now been confirmed by several further studies.
Living wall realisation systems

The HW Flex Systemliving walls are created by overlapping two bi-directional geocomposites and a technical polyurethane substrate. Slots are made in the exterior geocomposite sheet to form pockets to house the different plants.
With the HW Live Panel we use a shelf installation system, available in two different versions: HW Live Panel, the shelf system consisting of standard prefab modules, ideal for any size wall.
HW Live PanelPack also consists of standard modules available in three combinations, designed for smaller size installations.
The HW Live Panel system does not require any connections to water or electricity supplies or the discharge of excess water. The living walls are equipped with a remote controlled fertiliser and irrigation unit and, in areas with poor lighting, they are supported by dedicated lighting systems.
HW Mobi Panel is the shelf system for indoor and outdoor living walls of all sizes, suitable for both flat and curved surfaces.
The plants are selected based on the characteristics of the designated location; climate, exposure and brightness.
Living walls also undergo scheduled periodic maintenance.
